Cogito

The "Cogito" Journal of "Dimitrie Cantemir" Christian University, Bucharest, is a journal of scientific pluridisciplinary research which includes the following domains: philosophy, political sciences, economic sciences, judicial sciences, foreign languages, history of ideas.

The issue of the journal, suggestively entitled "Cogito" is an exceptional editorial event, which proves the special interest for scientific and philosophic research activity in our academic community. This matter drew the participation, with studies and articles, to establishing the first issue of certain distinguished academicians, Ph.D.Professors Alexandru Boboc (University of Bucharest), Teodor Dima ("Al. I.Cuza" university, Iasi) as well as remarkable professors, from our university and other high education institutions from Bucharest, Iasi and foreign countries. By thematic, the studies and articles address to not only specialists, though a wider public interested in the development of contemporary ideas. "Cogito" Journal appears four times a year, the first issue appearing in 16th of July 2009 with the support of PROUniversitaria Publishing House, Bucharest.

Institutul cultural român : programul Cantemir
Iniţiat în 2006, Programul CANTEMIR este programul de cofinanţare al Institutului Cultural Român pentru proiecte culturale desfăşurate în străinătate.
Prin finanţarea oferită, Institutul Cultural Român vizează creşterea vizibilităţii şi accesibilităţii culturii române în străinătate, precum şi încurajarea cooperării culturale şi a dialogului intercultural.


The Berendel Foundation (London)

It aims to foster research, education, training, publishing, and collaboration--mainly in the humanities and the social sciences.

The Berendel Foundation awards the first Cantemir Prize ( 2010)  to Dr. Stefan Lemny for his book Les Cantemir  (Paris, 2009)

The first Cantemir Lectures will be delivered by Moshe Idel, Max Cooper Professor of Jewish Thought Emeritus at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a member of The Berendel Foundation's Advisory Board, in early February 2011.

Cantemir Fellowships
The Berendel Foundation will commence its Cantemir Fellowships with two research fellowships for 3 years (2010-2013).
